Spring into Action

Just like the seasons know when to change, our bodies know that a change is due. In the fall and winter we get lazy and seek comfort food that makes us feel warm and well, comforted. These foods cause us to get the extra weight, the sluggishness and the sleepy feeling. I think because the cold says its time to hibernate like the animals do.

When the days get longer, the sun begins to call you to come play and enjoy the outside. And who can resist the beauty of the color in nature, the flowers blooming, the trees sprouting leaves and the warmer temperatures. I know your mind is telling you to get into shape, physically and clear out the cobwebs, mentally. Most people start with exercise, the gyms get crowded, the parks are filled with walkers, runners and joggers, all in the name of getting fit.

Weill, Health Naturally, wants to help you get it together, holistically. Because, we believe that to be fit, it requires all of the pieces to come together in agreement. The mind, body and soul must be in alignment, if not, the process will not last long enough to get the desired results. Maybe you are not able to spring into spring so easily, but if you truly desire to be healthier, together we can do it.
