Fasting Puts You In Control

What do you give your power to, your habits based on conditioning or the 10 percent of the mind you use? Most people refuse to take responsibility for their own lives. Always finding fault, blame or problems with others. Thinking for yourself is hard work, why would you want to think for yourself when someone else is willing to do it for you.

I just completed a 5 day fast with a friend. That is what I consider being in control. It takes determination, willingness and courage to do what others are not willing to do. I must admit on the 4th day my mind tried to pull me away from my desired result by using trickery. The thought came to me and said," you don't have to do this, no one is holding you accountable, nothing is going to happen if you don't go the whole 5 days as planned." Well I didn't cave in, I held on to the reason for this fast and the intention set between my friend and I. I am the winner, because control builds fortitude for every other area in your life.

I feel great, despite tree pollen allergies, which have been giving me a fight for my life. I stayed the course and my intentions will be my reward. My skin looks great, I lost some weight and internally the benefits are at the molecular level.

Fasting is the voluntary absence of food. The art of fasting is an ancient tradition practiced for thousands of years for curing illness of all kinds, rejuvenaton, clarity and decision making, cleansing and strengthening. Fasting also allows for the body's enzyme system to focus on detoxifying and breaking down toxins in the body quickly and efficiently without the job of heavy food digestion.
