Dig Deep Into Your Soul

To get to the bottom of things sometimes we have to go deep to the root. Like a tree with its beautiful green leaves, long strong branches, the broad, thick trunk, we too have our beautiful outer existence. But at the deepest level the tree has its roots, which is the beginning and the longest last part. The tree does not exist without the roots and we don't exist without our souls..

The soul is the beginning of our life, the very breadth of who we are. In life, we deal with many issues that alter our souls and we forget about the life force of energy that is within. A baby born innocent is soon taught of life's harshness, cruelty and demands, now has to build a shield of protection. These sheilds are defense mechanism that become the tools to proctect from harm and pain. Then, as an adult these defenses are natural to our behavior, not aware that they exist, they work automatically to keep us away from harm.

Someone used to say to me, "stop being a surface dweller", which I must admit that I have a tendancy to do. Because when I dig deep, I am afraid of what I unconsciously buried, but to heal means asking the question and searching for the truthful answer. I must dig deep into my soul to move past blocks that are preventing me from moving in a forward direction. And if we are not moving forward, we must be moving backward, where you have already been, it's called the past.

So I encourage you to ask the question and be prepared for the answer, to begin the healing process for the sake of your soul.
